Chengying Deng is a Washington-based CPA. She received her undergraduate degree in accounting/business and a master’s degree in taxation in 2010 from the University of Washington.
She worked for Deloitte from 2010 to 2015, dealing with complicated tax issues regarding consolidated corporate projects and flow-through entities with large-scale engagements. Her focus was on domestic and international compliance, research, consulting, and planning for multinational tax clients.
After spending five years at one of the ‘big four’ companies, she joined a smaller local firm to help serve small business owners and high-net-worth individuals. She helped clients achieve high tax efficiency and minimize their domestic and international tax burden.
She has more than ten years of experience in international issues related to foreign entities and foreign-owned US businesses. Her experience also includes US persons living or investing abroad and foreign persons living in and investing or doing business in the US.
In addition to her decade of international tax experience, she is also a specialist in real estate tax matters from clients and the perspective of a real estate investor herself. She also holds a real estate broker license.
