
Kevin Kim is both an accountant and an attorney.
Kevin’s accounting background includes an LL.M. in Taxation degree received from Georgetown University Law Center in 2014 and a brief role as an accounts payable manager at a Michigan software company in 2019. He has since passed all four sections of the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Exam and is currently pursuing the enrolled agent (EA) certification.
Kevin is a partner at a law firm based in Seoul, Korea. He is an attorney licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, Virginia, and District of Columbia. He focuses his practice on estate planning and business succession. He helps clients with orderly transfer of wealth and assists domestic and non-US business owners maintain control when ownership and management transition in a family business. Before starting a career in law, Kevin graduated from Carnegie Mellon University (2004) and Syracuse University College of Law (2009).
An entrepreneur at heart, Kevin understands the needs of small business owners as he is a small business owner himself. He uses his spare time to manage businesses that operate in five different industries: technology, real estate, agriculture, food, and tourism. He knows what it is like to run a small business from a legal and financial perspective.
